How to send a notice
Write to info@thenocgroup.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- The work you believe is protected and was used without permission.
- The exact address (URL) of the page where the material is.
- Your name, address, email and phone number.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
What we do when we receive it
We review the notice. If it applies, we remove or block the material and let whoever published it know. We may ask you for more information if something is unclear.
If you believe it was removed by mistake
You can reply with a counter-notice to info@thenocgroup.com. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, and your contact details. With that we assess whether to restore it.
A warning
Falsely claiming that material infringes copyright can lead to liability for damages. If you are unsure, consult a lawyer first.
